MusiK1 debuts its new web property at OpenMusicWire.com, providing industry relations with new music releases under a Creative Commons license for editorial and programming consideration.
In beta mode, the new project is heavily blog driven, featuring a music review on the presented track(s), along with a co-branded widget under the new Jamendo partnership, where affiliates and music fans alike can listen and download the free offers from participating artists and labels.

The S.U.N. Sets To Release The One
S.U.N. (Scientific Universal Noncommercial) gets ready to finalize "The One", his latest record scheduled to release in the first quarter of '09. Produced by Tony Ozier, the project brings a neo-soul element to S.U.N.'s underground hip-hop, jazzy flips.

Each project's single will be serviced to Internet radio, while audio and music videos will be serviced to content providers, as well as through online and cable television properties.

MusiK1 begins to work closely with Clear Channel Online Music & Radio by presenting new music releases for feature consideration in their NEW! program, which are being published on their iheartmusic.com website. Once a title is available in the NEW! program, station PDs will also have access to the song.
In this alliance, MusiK1 has been given the green light to send all music video releases their way to be added in their library, searchable on iheartmusic.com.
